U.S. Navy has exercised the Option 2 as part of Virtual EM’s current STTR Phase II contract to extend the work for eighteen months for flight testing of the advanced prototypes built during the Option 1 period. Project concerns zero-weight HF/VHF conformal antennas for UAVs and Michigan State University and Raytheon Company will serve as the subcontractors on the effort.
