The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has selected Virtual EM’s SBIR Phase II proposal entitled “A Scalable Full-Wave Method for Accurate Assessment of Target Signatures Using Fast Algorithms and Hardware Acceleration” for negotiation, which may lead to award of a Phase II contract. Virtual EM will develop a software for predicting RCS of reentry test vehicles, which is optimized to run on multi-core CPU and GPU platforms.
