Virtual EM was awarded a six month SBIR Phase I contract by the U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) based on its proposal titled “A Scalable Full-Wave Method for Accurate Assessment of Target Signatures Using Fast Algorithms and Hardware Acceleration” submitted to the MDA Topic MDA11-039. Ohio State University will be the subcontractor on the engine acceleration side and Virtual EM will focus on optimization of the engines on multi-core platforms as well as integration of the engines with VirAntenn software’s GUI.
