Dr. Tayfun Ozdemir, President of Virtual EM, chaired the 2010 IEEE Great Lakes Technology Symposium held in Ann Arbor, MI at the University of Michigan campus on Sep 16-17, 2010. The symposium was headlined by Dr. Robin Staffin, Director for Basic Science, U.S. Department of Defense and was attended by 139 academicians, small tech, tech transfer offices, business incubators and investors from major mid-west campuses. The event will be repeated on Sep 20-21, 2011 again in Ann Arbor, MI and headlined by Hon. Zachary J. Lemnios, Director, Defense Research & Engineering (DDR&E), U.S. Department of Defense.
